Fundado en 2010, el Colectivo de Jóvenes Inmigrantes del Inland Empire aspira crear un espacio seguro para que los jóvenes inmigrantes se expresen, alcancen su máximo potencial y afirmen su identidad la cual se intersecta con ser undocumentade. A través de la organización de base, nuestra misión es involucrar a los jóvenes para que obtengan un acceso equitativo a la educación superior y al desarrollo profesional, y también a buscar justicia para la comunidad inmigrante al empoderar a aquellos más impactados por políticas injustas.

INLAND COALITION FOR IMMIGRANT JUSTICE (ICIJ)
The ICIJ, is composed of over 35 organizations that serve the immigrant community in the Inland Empire. Our coalition engages in policy advocacy, community organizing and education, and rapid response to ICE and border patrol operations. We are collectively changing the narrative of the one million immigrants who live, thrive, and are a foundational part of the fabric of the IE

Center for Community Action and Environmental Justice (CCAEJ)
CCAEJ is a progressive equity-based organization that embodies hope, unites people y pueblos, to create intersectional solutions that transform communities “to bring people together to improve their social and natural environment.” Through strategic campaigns, we cultivate inclusive self-sustaining neighborhoods, where everyone can live, work, play, and thrive.

Organizing Fellow at CCAEJ
Azarely
In 2024, she earned a B.S. in Environmental Sciences B.S. & a B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Azarely is passionate about environmental justice, environmental issues related to water resources, and climate change.

Organizing Fellow at the IE-IYC
Jeffry
As the organizing fellow for the IEIYC, Jeffry will work closely with community members and partners to advance the #UndocuReady Campaign and ensure that educational institutions in the IE have the resources and knowledge they need to protect, defend, and empower their undocumented students and immigrant families.

Communications Fellow at the IE-IYC
Rene
As a first-generation Latino, Rene is determined to become a successful entrepreneur by launching an international clothing brand. His goal is to create opportunities for the community through philanthropy and youth empowerment.

Organizing Fellow at the IC4IJ
Yadira
In 2024, Yadira received her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Policy at the University of California Riverside . Her goal is to join the Board of Education to make reforms within the Educational system. Yadira will be working with ICIJ alongside an amazing group of advocates and community that are passionately committed to helping the IE!
