Kimberly Hernandez

Youth Organizer

Kimberly Hernandez is committed to advocating and organizing alongside the immigrant community in the Inland Empire. After immigrating to the United States, Kimberly became aware of the inequities that many individuals faced and was encouraged to become as socially conscious as possible.

Kimberly recently graduated from the University of La Verne with a degree in Business Administration. While being a student, Kimberly participated in various activities such as being a peer facilitator for the diversity retreats on campus, doing a fellowship  with the Latino Latina Roundtable, and becoming part of the youth steering committee at the IEIYC.

As a youth organizer, Kimberly hopes to uplift and make space for immigrant youth to lead the fight and become empowered. Kimberly believes that it is possible to create long lasting change that stems from community and healing.
